These dramatic photographs show the moment a suicidal young woman was dragged kicking and screaming to safety from a 32nd floor window ledge of a tower block.
Chinese police had to physically pull the 24-year-old, who once appeared in a television dating show, to safety after three hours of talks to persuade her to come down failed.
She had previously cut her left wrist with a stone and climbed out onto the ledge of the building under construction in Changsha.

Why? When asked afterwards why she wanted to kill herself, she repeatedly said: 'I don't have love, I don¿t have a job, my family hates me, and everyone is very disappointed in me'
While out on the ledge, she was seen talking on her mobile telephone. She reportedly complained that she had failed to kill herself. One police officer tied a rope to one of her feet, while the other grabbed her other foot.
The third officer then pushed himself from the balcony to the top of the bay window to hold the girl’s arm. Another two officers then pulled the girl her back to the room.
