New York is a notoriously quick-paced city, but it seems residents of the Big Apple still make time for their love lives.
New Yorkers have sex 156 times a year on average - five times more than the national average, a survey has revealed.
They have nearly have slept with more people than residents in any other major city except Atlanta which holds first place - residents there admitted to having an average of 25 lovers in their lifetime.

The online poll by condom brand Trojan asked 1,000 people in 10 major cities to complete a survey about their sexual habits.
The survey found that New Yorkers were honest with their lovers and are 27 percent more likely to share their fantasies with their a partner than residents in any other city.

On a nationwide basis, the two-part survey found that while two-thirds of Americans (aged 18 and over) are satisfied with their sex life, one in two (50 percent) feel their sex life needs a jump start.
While Americans are having more sex compared to 2011 sexual satisfaction is on the decline - 67 percent of Americans claim to be satisfied with their sex life in 2012 versus 76 percent in 2011.
But nearly 81 percent of respondents said they are looking for ways to make their sex life more exciting.
