The new breast milk-flavored lollipop that tastes like 'sweet almond with a creamy base'

A candy company has launched a range of breast milk-flavored lollipops for children and adults.
Jason Darling, who runs the Texas-based confectionery firm Lollyphile, said he watched his friends' babies go from 'furious to content in one mouthful' and set about recreating the 'satisfying' taste for everyone to enjoy.
In a bid to get an authentic flavor, specialists at his factory tested samples of milk from new moms. The confectioner explained customers will experience 'hints of sweet almond with a creamy base'.

'People either think its hilarious, neat, or gross,' he told MailOnline, 'To the latter I ask: why is human milk gross but cow milk isn't?'
But the concept has clearly hit the spot with some, as Mr Darling says he has already made thousands of dollars in orders.

A page on the Lollyphile website shows a content toddler testing one of the unconventional pops out.
An explanation below reads: 'These lollipops won't bring back childhood memory; they'll bring up animal instinct. Quite possibly the most inherently satisfying flavor of all time.'

Despite the 'milk' descriptor, all of the Lollyphile lollipops are in fact vegan, and made from sugar, corn syrup and other natural flavors.
Mr Darling set up his sweet business in 2007 with his main target market being 25 to 35 year olds.
Other eccentric flavors he has masterminded over the years include absinthe, Sriracha, tequila, maple bacon and chocolate bacon.

The limited-edition breast milk lollipops are priced at $10 for four.
