Denmark's Prince Joachim couldn't keep his eyes of his newborn daughter as he left a hospital in Copenhagen today.
Stood at his wife's side, the 45-year-old looked on lovingly as French-born Princess Marie cradled their little girl in her arms.
It is the family's first public appearance since the birth on Tuesday, when a palace official revealed 'it's a princess'.

Hundreds of well wishers flocked to the greet the royal duo as they posed for photographs.
Completing the family line up was their one and a half year old son Henrik, and Nikolai, 12, and Felix, 9, the prince's sons from his previous marriage to Hong Kong-born Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg.
The couple divorced in 2005 in Denmark's first royal split in nearly 160 years.
The Prince is said to be delighted with the birth of his first girl and last year he admitted 'With three boys already, I would like a little girl.'

The palace confirmed that 35-year-old Marie and her daughter were doing fine.
Grandparents Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik were also on hand to greet their son with a warm hug.
The little girl is 10th in line to the Danish throne behind Joachim's mother, Queen Margrethe II, who recently celebrated 40 years on the throne.
Prince Joachim, the second son of Margrethe and Prince Consort Henrik, is himself sixth in line to the throne after his elder brother Crown Prince Frederik and his four children with Australian-born Crown Princess Mary.
Crown Prince Frederik – also a dad-of-four – visited the hospital earlier this week with wife Mary.
Princess Marie gave birth to a son in May 2009, a year after she gave up her French citizenship to marry the Scandinavian Prince.
It was announced last August that she was pregnant with their second child. A statement read:'The birth is expected to take place at the national Rigshospitalet hospital at the end of January 2012.'
